Card catalogues
Currently, the Sheet Music Card Catalogue is the only complete catalogue of music prints in the library collection of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow. It is divided into two parts: alphabetical and classified. It is successively updated and, if possible, refurbished.
The catalogue is divided into two parts: alphabetical and classified. The alphabetical section includes all titles by authors’ or editors’ surnames. In the classified part, the materials are grouped according to thematic scopes.
The catalogue includes CDs purchased until 2012, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, analogue discs as well as cassette and VHS tapes. For newer CD acquisitions, please search the Main Catalogue. Recordings on CDs and analogue discs are catalogued in two ways: by the names of composers and by the names of performers – and divided into groups of instruments. Other recordings are catalogued by composers’ names only.
