Regulations of Recruitment to the AMKP Doctoral School (Attachment to Resolution No. 8/2023 of the Senate of the AMKP of 30 March 2023)
Recruitment
Recruitment to the Doctoral School for the academic year 2024/2025 will be carried out for the following programmes of study:
Composition – 1 student,
Instrumental studies – 3 students.
REGISTRATION FOR STUDIES
Registration for the 2024/2025 academic year will be open:
from 26 August 2024, 00:01 a.m. to 13 September 2024, 11:59 p.m.

The candidates shall attach to the registration form the following files:
- Electronic application for admission to the Doctoral School.
- Master’s degree (or its certified true copy) or other equivalent document – shall be attached as a scan to the registration form.
a) a candidate who is a citizen of a country which is a member of the European Union shall present a Master’s degree diploma or other equivalent legalized document.
b) a candidate who is a citizen of a country which is NOT a member of the European Union shall present a Master’s degree diploma or other equivalent document with “apostille” or nostrification, or a confirmation that it is recognised as equivalent to a Polish Master’s degree on the basis of an international agreement on the recognition of foreign educational qualifications. - CV – as an attachment to the registration form, in PDF format.
- Artistic and scientific biography with a detailed list of achievements to date – as an attachment to the registration form, in PDF format.
- The description of artistic and scientific plans for the course of study – as an attachment to the registration form, in PDF format.
- A colour photograph in electronic format, 20×25 mm, 300 dpi resolution – a JPG file shall be uploaded in the registration form.
- Confirmation of payment of the recruitment fee – file in .pdf or .jpeg format.
PLEASE NOTE: We kindly inform that the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow does not provide accompanists during the entrance examinations to the Doctoral School.
FEES
The fee for the entrance exam is PLN 150.
