FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE (BACHELOR’S DEGREE) PROGRAMME
A two-stage examination; candidates who have passed the first stage are admitted to the second stage.
Stage 1: Major exam
an examination in playing an instrument – practical
Supplementary exam
for the major: classical guitar: sight-reading – a practical examination
and a quick study examination (preparation of a provided piece of music – individual work) – practical
for the major: harp: a quick study examination (preparation of a provided piece of music – individual work) – practical
Stage 2: Supplementary exam
Ear training (for the major: classical guitar)
Interview – oral examination
Programmes:
Playing the classical guitar
- A cyclic form
- Two etudes
- A renaissance or baroque music piece
- A free-choice piece
The programme (approx. 25 minutes) must be performed from memory.
Playing the harp
- An etude
- A cyclic form
- A free-choice piece
