Julian Stanny was born in 2001. He began learning to play the piano at the age of 4. He received his initial musical education at the Primary and Secondary School of Music in Nowy Sącz in the class of Joanna Ustarbowska-Dudka . He gained his piano experience from prof. Bradley Bolen, prof. Marek Żebrowski, prof. Mirosław Cherbowski, prof. Milena Kędra, prof. Zbigniew Raubo, prof. Zofia Antes. After receiving her maturity certificate at the age of 19 he commenced studies at the Academy of Music in Kraków in Mariola Cieniawa’s class. He was a laureate of many national and international competitions. In 2016, he received a scholarship from Baylor University. Among his achievements, the most significant are: laureate of the 1st prize at the Luiggi Zanucoli International Competition for Young Instrumentalists, laureate of the 2nd prize at the Juliusz Zarębski International Piano Competition, laureate of the 2nd prize at the Irena Rolanowska Polish National Piano Competition, 1st prize winner at the International Chopin Competition in Vienna, distinction at the International Piano Competition in Konin.
