dr Joanna Wójtowicz
Graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Krakow in two specializations: Choral Conducting and Music Education. As a fellow of the Erasmus Programme she also studied at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart. After completion of one year postgraduate certificate studies in Culture Management in European Dimension she worked at the International Cooperation Centre of the Academy of Music in Krakow (2007-2011). Since 2008 she has cooperated with the Krakow Opera in various capacities: as children’s trainer and conductor (children’s opera „Pan Marimba” by Marta Ptaszyńska, 2008-2011), then as assistant choirmaster of the Krakow Opera Choir. As the opera choirmaster she was individually responsible for preparing the choir for the outdoor performance of “The Fiddler on the Roof” by J. Bock.
From 2012 to 2015 she worked as teacher and researcher at Music Education Research Department. She received her doctoral degree in 2014 and since October 2015 has been working as teacher and researcher at the Choral Department at the Academy of Music in Krakow.
As a member of the Loch Camelot Theatre Group she realizes her passion for theatre music.
