The pianist took part in numerous renowned festivals and concert cycles. He has performed during the World Piano Meeting in Coimbra, the Tel Hai International Masterclasses in Sde Boker, the International Summer Academy in Reichenau an der Rax, Opera Rara in Kraków, the Silesia International Festival of Music Competition Winners in Katowice, the Salesian International Summer Music Festival in Przemyśl, the Przemyśl’s Musical Fall, the Wawel at Dusk Festival, the Young Talents at Chopin’s Museum in Warsaw, Music in Old Balice Festival, Summer Music Academy in Kraków, Summer Manufacture of Music in Niepołomice (as a pianist and teacher). The pianist cooperate with orchestras, among others, Sinfonietta Cracovia. He has also recorded for Polish Radio.

He has taken an active part in masterclasses led by, among others, Paul Badura-Skoda, Dimitri Baszkirov, Aquiles delle Vigne, Emanuel Krasovsky, Elza Kolodin, Konstanza Eickhorst, Pietro de Maria, Dina Yoffe, Andrzej Jasiński, Avedis Koujoumdijan, Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Vida Vuijc, Kaja Danczowska, Peter Nagy, Michael Wessel, Anna Malikova, Radoslav Kvapil, Adam Wodnicki, Ewa Osińska, Daniel Blumenthal, Tamas Ungar, Stanislav Pochekin, Guillermo Gonzalez, Viktor Derevianko and Pascal le Corre.

Mateusz Zubik graduated from the Academy of Music in Cracow, class of Prof. Andrzej Pikul, with honors. He obtained his doctorate about  Leoš Janáček Piano Music with distinction. He spent a year studying at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna in the class of Prof. Martin Hughes. He perfected his chamber music skills under Prof. Barbara Łypik-Sobaniec and Prof. Sławomir Cierpik. He is currently studying at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with Prof. Gesa Lücker.

The pianist has won numerous Polish and international competitions and has been awarded scholarships through winning, among others, 1st prize in the Competition for the Jutting Foundation Scholarship, the 2nd prize at France International Music Competition, 1st prize in the Competition for the Scholarship of the Jutting Foundation, 1st prize at Golden Classical Music Awards, 1st prize at Gram z Orkiestrą Competition and 2nd Prize at OPUS International Music Competition. He also receives scholarships in. e., from Sapere Auso Foundation, Śnieżka Foundation, The City of Kraków Scholarship, Rector of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow Scholarship for the best doctoral students.
