dr Łukasz Dębski
Łukasz Dębski – a graduate (with honours) of the Music Academy in Krakow in the piano class of Prof. Stefan Wojtas.
Having completed his Master’ Degree, he did his postgraduate studies in the field of chamber music in the class of Prof.Janina Romańska-Werner, and graduated in 2005.
In the same year, at the International Competition in Lodz, he received the award for a distinctive accompanist. In 2008 he received an award for an outstanding piano part at the International Oboe Competition. In 2011 he won the award for distinctive pianist at the International Oboe Competition in Lodz. In the same year, in a duet with an oboe player Monica Sęk won the third prize at the International Competition LION’S in the Netherlands. In 2012 he received a diploma of recognition for an outstanding accompaniment during Michal Spisak 6th International Music Competition. During the Sixth International Music Competition of D. Bida in Lviv in 2013, he received the award for a professional performance of the piano part.
He constantly develops his piano technique and pedagogical skills by taking part in many master classes. Since 2003 he has been the headmaster of the Private Professional School of Music in Krakow and since 2004 he has worked at the Academy of Music in Krakow and the Zelenski Secondary School of Music in Krakow. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Programme Board of the Foundation Pro Musica Bona.
